It's raining.
as in, pretty heavily.
intermittently.
XL and I went to get the Science Quest ( You know. that competition I unabashedly screwed RI.. now the teachers know. Damn.) Banner. It was 1250. It was Kinda Dark. It was.. Crazy.
Three steps out of school: The very first drops from heaven landed on... everywhere.
Ten steps out: Drizzled turned into a god damned pour.
We reached destination and began frantically untying the nylon strings.
me:"Which Damned Idiot tied the bloody strings round the fence so many times???!!!" followed by some choice words.. which.. people around me have heard enough.
XL:" ...... you?"
oh. Oh right...Well, I'll look into the mirror and remind myself how much i hated me as soon as i got home. I've never felt so good and so stupid at the same time. It was.. stupidly good. Or good-ly (no such word .. right?) Stupid.
Either the Big Guy up there who makes things difficult hates me, or he likes the banner too much. Because, the rain stopped just as scaled the side gate. XL was holding on to the "umbrella" damn him, didn't even offer to share... Just strolled in the rain, looking like a dork holding an over-sized ... thing above his head (which was already wet).
hmm..
I feel like sanding outside VJ , holding a "FREE HUGS!!!!!!" sign today.
